We will be having the first of six Supermoons on March 8/9th, 2016. (Depending on your time zone)
It’s even more exciting that this New Supermoon will also be a Total Solar Eclipse and visible from several parts of the World. Including Indonesia on March 9th, and from Hawaii and Alaska on March 8th.
So, what is a Super New Moon?
An astrologer, Richard Nolle, is credited with coining the term Supermoon. He defines them as “a new or full moon which occurs with the moon at or near (within 90% of) its closest approach to Earth.”
When a Supermoon is also a New Moon, observers on Earth are not able to see it, as its illuminated side faces away from the Earth toward the Sun.
The only time a New Moon can be seen is during a solar eclipse. This is when it passes directly in front of the Sun, visibly showing off part or all of its dark disk.
The closer the Moon is to the Earth; the greater effect it has on our planet. It creates higher than usual tides, a much stronger gravitational pull, as well as a huge surge of feelings and events affecting all Earth’s inhabitants in some way.
What can we expect from this New Supermoon?
Infused with the fluid, transpersonal quality of Pisces, and with the added power of being a Supermoon and a Solar Eclipse, this New Moon is an opportunity for us to ease into a fresh cosmic cycle, blending with the natural rhythm of the Universe.
The New Moon symbolizes a time for an emotional and spiritual reboot.
Thus, we are becoming more cosmically charged, and more in sync with the Piscean gifts of intuition and surrender. Our Ego urgencies are blocked out of that sacred space so we are able to blend with life and rest in the silence of beingness. We’re free to ride the wave of inspiration and easily embrace the flow; instead of wasting our psychic energy questioning the direction.
Sometimes, as in this particular Pisces Super New Moon/Eclipse, forward momentum might feel more like a struggle; slow or even nonexistent. When this occurs, it’s important to remain centered, and in a state of heightened perception and trust.
Complete faith and trust are one of Pisces greatest strengths. As soon as we tap into our innate wisdom allowing the cosmic balance to shine through us, there is no need to wait for tangible signs of progress – we will just know.

Getting your Supermoon On
During this Super New Moon 2-week phase, all activities, mental and physical, that you ‘launch or set into motion, (at the closest proximity of the new moon) will be strengthened by the waxing energy of this Super New Moon’s pull, as it moves towards its fruition of fullness.
New moon phases are a great time for embarking on a new project or physical journey. Planting in the garden, starting a new job and forming enduring relationships all stand to benefit from the solid thrust of positive energy that appears with each new moon.
Meeting someone new on a new moon day can be the mark of a lasting friendship or love relationship. And, just as the Moon’s voidness denotes a time to rest and regroup, the New Moon calls our attention to be aware and open to all things new.

Why can’t we see ourselves the way the ones that care about us, see us?
Wouldn’t that just make life so much easier? All of us go through our lives trapped in our own shell, with our own insecurities. Every single one of us, on this insane planet have at least one insecurity. Whether that be your body size and shape, your medical condition, what your skin looks like, and so much more! The list goes on and on! Society tears us down to the point where we hate ourselves! We see these celebrities, models, and even YouTubers, with these make-up tutorials, or un-natural bodies, etc.
That makes us think that we’d love to be like them! Why would you though? Why not be yourself? Why not show how beautiful you are, because everyone is beautiful in their own way! We need to learn to be comfortable in our own skin, we need to learn to love ourselves like the ones around us; love us. We all are down on ourselves, I’m guilty for it, I have insecurites that people say aren’t bad, or doesn’t look bad, etc. I still hate myself for it though. I know others do it too, when someone calls you handsome, or beautiful or anything in an act of kindness, we need to take it, and be proud of it, it can be hard, I know it is. I just hope that everybody can eventually see themselves how the ones who care about you, see you!

Have you ever had someone burst into your bubble and they were carrying a powerful energy of anger that had absolutely nothing to do with you? Only to find that they end up just popping back out of your space like nothing ever even happened?
You find yourself left sitting there feeling overwhelmed, vibrating and shaky, and confused. What’s worse is that now you’re feeling this negative energy too. Eventually, you calm down, but the damage has already been done.
The effects of harboring negative energy are very unhealthy for our entire mind and body, especially our soul. Yet most of us still suffer from this on a daily basis and many don’t even realize that they are carrying this dangerous weapon.
I believe that it is very important to our health and well-being to teach ourselves to rebound the unwanted energies that belong to others. This can be achieved by staying focused on your own vibration, and allowing it to dim away any fires. It’s going to take practice, as this is not an easy thing to do.
As an Empath, I am always wanting to help others work through their anger. It’s the fixer in me. However, if I am vibrating at the same anger level as them, then I am in a just as bad state of being. This in which is in no way helpful to them, or to me, and usually only escalates into something much bigger and makes us angrier.
So, how does one stop these energy attacks from happening in the first place?
Here are three easy steps you can take to help you master this skill:
First, you excuse yourself from your current space. (go to the restroom for example) This way, you are immediately turning your back on the energy, rebounding it back to its carrier.
Give yourself 5 minutes alone to breathe and become centered again. Remind yourself of how your own energy feels and flows. Remember the feeling and flow of your energy, and always carry it with you.
You are now ready to go back out to that angry space while carrying the calming balance of your own vibrational energy. You are now able to feel and connect with the compassion and calmness of your own energy, allowing it to flick out the fiery flames of anger. You’ll be able to move past this without it leaving any residual anger energy behind.
These steps will take practice, but in time, it will become a regular habit. The changes and improvements to your health and well-being will be so worth it! It is one of the most valuable skills I have learned along my journey. Choosing which energies to absorb, and which to rebound. I am no longer being overwhelmed by all the static energy around me that is not mine to carry, and I have never felt happier and lighter!

Living with a rare debilitating condition Called Symptomatic Mastocytosis, dubbed the ‘Allergic to the World disease’, is a challenging, and ever-changing journey. It causes my body to produce way too many mast cells. Normally, our mast cells are a great thing. They are there to protect and alert our body to all sorts of dangers, and allergens, and actually work to protect us from said danger. But in a condition like mine, with just too many mast cells, we are in a constant high alert mode, always in what we call a ‘flare’, just beneath the surface. Due to our unpredictable and sensitive ‘alert mode’, almost anything can trigger us and cause us to go into ANA. (Anaphylaxis Shock)
Basically, you never know what you are going to get each day, as the symptoms and effects are always changing, and adapting.
Tricky little cells those.
So I spend my days going in and out of flares, alternating good days and bad, waxing and waning just like our Moon.
I remain focused on the blessings in each day, and have faith and trust, that my light will always show me the way.
I am so grateful to be home with my family, and for the days I am able to write, and share some inspiration, laughter, or thought provoking quote.
I am even thankful for those bad days, the ‘resting times’, as they always make me feel lighter and stronger, getting brighter with each flare I overcome. I feel like I’m literally glowing in all of my light, giving me the courage, and strength I need, to continue to persevere, move through, and beyond this recent challenge.
I am honored to have shared, a piece of myself with you.
I hope it helps to remind you, to have continued faith, trust and embrace your resilient light. Always remain grateful, even for those struggles, as they will only make you a stronger, brighter, and much wiser person for it.

I feel like the moon, a sliver of light,
a wink of brightness, in the darkness of night.
I feel like the moon, as with each passing day,
I get fuller and brighter, lighting my way.
I feel like the moon, so full and so bright,
as the World is aglow, with all of my light.
I feel like the moon, as my light whisks away,
as the tides rumble through me, and I begin to fade.
I feel like the moon, beginning a fresh new glow,
as my strength grows only stronger, when I just let it flow.
I feel like the moon, this everchanging ball of light,
just waxing and waning with all of my might.
